What happened in Croatia this spring?
Every yoga teacher training is always an intense process of all-round growth, joyous learning, meeting new friends, spiritual discovery, great improvements in one’s practice and introduction to the entire worldview of yoga. It’s also a time of fun, leisure, swimming and snorkeling (if you happen to attend our Croatia training).
We accept only a small number of students on any of our teacher training courses, so we can provide maximum of personalized instruction and care. Our groups are small which makes it possible for the participants to get to know each other well, to make friends for life and to get to know the teachers too.
During the last yoga teacher training in May 2018 we had a grand time and here we share some pictures that will help you get a feeling of how and where we visited and spent time. Every afternoon students have some 3 hours to go to the beach, swim and frolic in the sea. Students can also study in the Mediterranean gardens enjoying the view of the sea.
We organize two excursions, the first one is to Lubenice which has one among the 15 most beautiful beaches in the world and a village that dates back in history 4000 years. On this excursion we visit a distillery, producing home-made essential oils, soaps, olive oil and purely organic cosmetics. A highlight is a visit to the blue grotta or cave where you swim through a tunnel to get into a cathedral-like space and find yourself in bluish waters reflecting light from outside in a surreal way.
On the second excursion we spend a day visiting other islands and secluded beaches by boat as we traverse the dolphin habitat (and when lucky spot some dolphins too).
Our yoga villa is located in a quiet residential area, full of pine trees, greenery and lovely flowers. The meals are lovingly prepared by local chefs and are vegetarian with vegan options. We eat our meals on the terrace overlooking the sea. It truly feels like paradise.
Here is what Liz, one of our students who just completed the course has to say:
“Having just finished my YTT 200 hour teacher training course in Croatia. I can honestly say choosing this yoga teacher training course was the best decision I have made. The Content of the course was amazing, so much information and depth and so extensive. Going far beyond other teacher training courses The course was challenging but the knowledge I learnt has taught me so much. Ganga Devi is an inspirational, supportive teacher with so much wonderful knowledge to share. I thank Ganga for all her patience and help and thoroughly enjoyed my time with Ganga and all the amazing new friends I met during my three and a half weeks
I have enjoyed all aspects of the course and feel I have grown so much spiritually and mentally and now feel ready to start spreading the wonderful benefits of yoga.
The location and villa was beautiful, the food was nourishing and enjoyable. I have returned home feeling fitter, healthier and full of enthusiasm, and will continue to adopt this new lifestyle. I feel confident and ready to embark on spreading the benefits of yoga straight away. Thank you so much Ganga for your wisdom and knowledge I highly recommend this course.”
